Jeremy Jordan Is Broadway's Next Bobby Darin, Will Replace Jonathan Groff in 'Just in Time'
Jeremy Jordan will remain on Broadway this year!
The Tony-nominated actor, who currently is reprising his role as Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby, will play Bobby Darin in the musical Just In Time beginning in April.
Jeremy is set to replace Jonathan Groff, who originated the role in the Tony-nominated show. Jonathan will depart the show on March 29 and Jeremy will play his first performance on April 21. Casting for the period in-between will be announced at a later date.
Director Alex Timbers said in a statement, “I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome Jeremy Jordan to Just in Time—his talent, charisma, and emotional fearlessness make him the perfect artist to step into the role of Bobby Darin. We’re excited to tailor the show to Jeremy‘s many gifts and make a version of the show unique to him. Watching Jeremy bring Bobby’s swagger, vulnerability, and musical brilliance to life on Broadway is going to be electric, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
