Tottenham ready £25m bid to raid West Ham for second player in six months
Tottenham Hotspur are preparing an offer for another West Ham attacker, just six months after they raided their London rivals for Mohammed Kudus.
Kudus was the first player to join Tottenham from West Ham in 14 years, and the Ghana international has made a decent impact since he arrived at N17.
The 25-year-old is one of many Spurs players currently on the treatment table, and it has been widely reported that the Lilywhites want to add another winger to their squad this month.
It has now emerged that they could turn to the London Stadium again to strengthen their flanks.
Tottenham ready to make offer for winger who scored against them last week
The Daily Mail have now claimed that Spurs are ready to make a £25m offer for Crysencio Summerville, who scored the opener in the Hammers’ 2-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week.
The 24-year-old, who joined West Ham from Leeds in the summer of 2024, still has three-and-a-half years left on his contract at the East London club.
The report says that Summerville is seen as an option who addresses Tottenham’s issues on the left flank, given the Dutchman’s pace and trickery.
However, it is suggested that Nuno Espirito Santo would not want to lose the former Leeds man as he attempts to keep West Ham in the Premier League.
Crysencio Summerville’s arrival could open the door for Spurs forward’s exit
The Mail say that if Tottenham are successful in raiding their London rivals for Summerville, it may open the door for Mathys Tel’s exit.
It has been widely reported that Tel remains keen on leaving Spurs on loan, with Paris FC continuing to circle over the 20-year-old.
The French forward is reportedly furious at Thomas Frank’s decision to swap him out of the Champions League squad, following the return to fitness of Dominic Solanke.
