Supercomputer predicts where Tottenham will finish in Champions League table
Opta’s Supercomputer has revised its predicted Champions League table after Tottenham beat Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
While Tottenham continue to struggle in the Premier League, the Lilywhites are flying high in Europe, having won all four of their home games in the Champions League this season without conceding a single goal.
In fact, Spurs have been invincible at home in Europe for almost six years, having not been beaten at their home stadium since 2020.
The win against Dortmund puts the Lilywhites in a great position to finish in the top eight and seal direct passage to the round of 16 stage of the competition.
Where Opta’s Supercomputer expects Tottenham to finish in the Champions League
The win on Tuesday took Spurs upto fourth place in the table and ensured that the Lilywhites will be in the top eight heading into their final league phase clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Opta’s Supercomputer has now revised its prediction, backing Thomas Frank’s men to finish in seventh place, with an expected 15.44 points.
Spurs have been backed to finish above the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona, with the data analysis platform giving the club a 52.94 per cent chance of finishing in the top eight.

A top-eight spot is far from certain for Spurs
Given that Eintracht Frankfurt are currently in 32nd place in the league phase table, many would feel that Tottenham are favourites to beat the German side and secure a top-eight finish.
However, the Lilywhites have struggled away from home in the Champions League so far this term, having been held to a draw by Monaco and Bodo/Glimt, and lost to PSG.
Getting a result at Frankfurt will certainly not be easy, especially given that there is still uncertainty regarding Thomas Frank’s future at Tottenham.
