Chris Pratt is calling out Hollywood for panicking over AI actors, including the recent Tilly Norwood controversy.
The 46-year-old actor opened up while on the red carpet for his new AI-themed movie Mercy on Tuesday night (January 20) at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.
Chris was joined by co-stars Kali Reis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers, as well as director Timur Bekmambetov.
Here’s a synopsis: In the near future, a detective (Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate. Watch the trailer now!

“I don’t feel like someone’s gonna replace me that’s AI,” Chris told Variety on the red carpet. “I heard this Tilly Norwood thing, I think that’s all bullsh-t. I’ve never seen her in a movie. I don’t know who this bitch is. It’s all fake until it’s something… I don’t think you’re going to replace the human soul of a director or a writer or an actor or a singer or any of this stuff that requires human yearning and suffering and vision in art.”
