Northern lights stun Europe as most powerful solar storm since 2003 hits Earth

Here in France, as well as countries including Hungary, Greenland and Germany, some residents have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights. These vibrant scenes are the result of the most powerful solar storm the earth has seen since 2003. But fortunately, little telecommunication or electricity infrastructure was disrupted.
