Fait Accompli Faux Pas

Here we go again. A new year. The same old crappy days. Life in the modern age is tough to chew, much less swallow, and appears embarrassing to those who see the manufactured nightmare of fascism while trying to survive. The same old tired routine carnival world of circus politics and sideshow religion sticking their gin-blossom nose in where it doesn’t belong. Strange, spooky bedfellows having forbidden relations with little boys and girls. Sexual taboos mixed with politics and religious extremism aren’t a good mix. Who’s screwing who? They’re screwing with us. We get screwed. But who are they? The nameless, faceless ones of little girth. The tiny little penile button mushroom caps of evil, corrupt corporate elites making decisions based on benevolent motives only for the benefit of themselves. Sticking it where it hurts. Always in the ass. To hell with the rest of us. They always pull out beforehand, but still, we get fucked.

They make it up as they merrily go along, sticking it to the little guy. That would be us. All this social intercourse is wearing thin without the protections of prophylactic politics. They don’t give a damn about you and your constitutional rights. There’s no condom strong enough to stop the poisonous ejaculate of their words against us. They’re the enemy within our buttocked gates, dismantling history's guardrails, knocking down societal systems one day at a time. The white nationalist party, MAGA, the extreme Christian Church, Proud Boys, skinheads, ICE, and dozens of other assorted Christian organizations and hate groups have taken control of the government's genitalia.

They’ll stop at nothing except destroying this country. It’s time to stop these blithering idiots. But how? Maybe you enjoy the suffering of the poor and disabled. Possibly even find it humorous to laugh at people that are different than you. You may wear your hatred as a badge of patriotic pride. Come from good Christian stock in faith and family tradition. You may admire the billionaire class. Too bad for us. But really terrible for you.

You get a kick out of the fact that they’re dismantling the entire system of government created for and by the people. There’s no better way. The right to choose, to speak out against those that oppose them, has eroded long ago. No explanations provided. Nothing to see here. Go on about your business. Move along. It’s all your fault anyway. No French words like “faux pas” or “fait accompli” get in the way of your fun time on Fantasy Island. The language of love is the French dialect.

For my unrefined taste, I choose no contest. You’re getting all the immigrants mixed up. Who’s who in this Caucasian menagerie? Non-whiteness aside. Your nightmare’s my dream. You hate any color but white as you hide in the shadows running from rainbows and confetti. And what’s with the masks? Like, you refused to wear one in a pandemic, but when you are a stormtrooper for the secret police, it’s mandatory.

The height of couture hypocrisy. Stuck somewhere between Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz. Another crappy commercial interruption. Another victim of the insane conspiracy theory luncheon set. You know the type.

You knew the score, and you’re no stranger unto yourself. A center for the arts isn’t in your orbit. Putting your name on everything doesn’t mean you own any of it. Not the place I’d find you waltzing around wearing a glitzy evening gown in your own private ballroom. After stopping eight imaginary wars. The spray-painted plastic gold filigree greed, the chintzy marble of the finest quality cut of cold cuts. The brass, the bronze of golden silver glitter bling, and distractingly shiny things. No limit to your cruelty or the number of casualties you’ve inflicted upon others. Gaze at your reflection in the mirror and sleep like a babe.
