A man has been charged with murdering his mum after she was found stabbed to death in a thatched cottage in Hampshire.
Gilly Livie was found with serious injuries by paramedics at her home in Cheriton, Hampshire, on January 9.
The 68-year-old grandmother was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man at the scene was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He was later revealed to be her son Daniel Livie, 39, who has now been charged with her murder.
A neighbour told The Telegraph: ‘She was a lovely lady, she was a keen runner … she had dogs and chicken and things.
