The 31-year-old The Last Airbender actress is the daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and former fashion model Claudia Heffner.

The couple got married in 1985, and share eight children together: Matthew, Will, Brad, Brittany, Diesel, Nicola and younger twins Zachary and Gregory.

Nelson built his fortune after dropping out of the Wharton School and joining his family’s food delivery business, which he expanded before co-founding Trian Fund Management in 2005.

He is a major figure in corporate investing today, and is the non-executive vice chairman of Wendy’s, with previous roles at Heinz, Unilever and MSG Sports, with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion.

Claudia was a successful fashion model before stepping away from the industry, and now leads a largely private life, supporting her children behind-the-scenes.

Nicola has described her parents as anti-Hollywood and credits them for keeping her grounded, and they often support her at events and premieres.

“My family is not in the limelight. I don’t see them like that at all. I come from a hockey family. All my brothers play hockey and my parents are, I guess, anti-Hollywood. They didn’t grow up in L.A. or anything,” she told Grazia in 2022.
