Myanmar junta 'can't last forever': Military in 'worse position now' than ever before
Catherine Viette welcomes Kim Aris, son of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, who bears witness to the fraught political landscape of Myanmar five years after the 2021 military coup. He offers a scathing critique of the "sham election" and the contradictions between the junta’s claims of legitimacy and civilians on-going resistance to brutal oppression, political violence and civil conflict.
