Champions League: Copenhagen vs. Napoli – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Napoli’s injury crisis continues for an away Champions League game at Copenhagen, so Antonio Vergara will start again as an attacking midfielder behind Rasmus Hojlund.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT) at the Parken in Copenhagen.
Both sides are level on seven points with two wins, one draw and three defeats. The Partenopei have lost all three of their away games in Europe this term, conceding ten goals and scoring just twice.
To make things worse, Antonio Conte must cope without several regular starters, the latest one being Amir Rrahmani and Matteo Politano, who sustained injuries in the most recent match against Sassuolo and will remain out of action for at least two weeks.
Alex Meret, Kevin De Bruyne, Frank Zambo Anguissa, Billy Gilmour, and David Neres are also injured, while Luca Marianucci and Pasquale Mazzocchi are not part of Napoli’s UEFA list.
Noa Lang is unlikely to start as he might even leave the Stadio Maradona in the coming days, so Vergara will start again as an attacking midfielder alongside Eljif Elmas, while Hojlund will be the Partenopei’s centre-forward.
