See the Best Olympic Team Kits Ahead of Cortina 2026

Olympic uniforms have long been a hot topic of conversation leading up to international competition. Typically unveiled a few months before the torches are ignited, a country’s uniforms tend to set the tone well before the athletes themselves get a chance to make their mark. Under the blinding international spotlight, naturally, some teams miss the mark (like Canada’s 1972 ski team who looked as if they’d apologize while accepting the gold medal, yikes) while others shine so brightly they become an international sensation (like when Issey Miyake designed Lithuania’s uniforms in 1992, a spectacle that nearly eclipsed the country’s lone gold medal in men’s discus). A great Olympic uniform should signal a country’s identity (or their aspired identity), often balancing between marking heritage elements with contemporary flair.

Although the lowlights are, at times, more captivating, with the Olympics being a setting designed for international camaraderie, it’d feel wrong to brutally critique the nations and brands that missed the mark this year (as tempting as it is). That said, with the 2026 Cortina Olympics on the near horizon, below are the Olympic kits that struck the landing.

Team Italia × EA7 Emporio Armani

It seems only right that the host nation should sport some of the most well-designed uniforms amongst the 90 participating countries, especially if the iconic Armani name is attached. The official uniforms of the Italian team, designed by EA7 Emporio Armani, are made in a milky white colour, featuring a large, three-dimensional embroidered “Italia” inscription. The kit is completed with a range of accessories such as gloves and hats, as well as a backpack, waterproof mountain shoes with an anti-slip system, and running shoes.

Team Canada x Lululemon

Are we biased? Certainly. Is this the best iteration of uniforms we’ve seen since Lululemon grabbed the torch for Canada’s Olympic kits? Also, certainly. The brand pays tribute to Canada’s striking natural landscape through topographic-map prints, rich Merino knits, translucent technical fabrics, and a colour palette inspired by every corner of the country. Although Lululemon doesn’t hold the same elevated design acumen as some of the other featured brands, following two years of athlete-led development, this is performance wear elevated to true Canadian standards.

Team USA x Ralph Lauren

I know, elbows up, elbows up. If there were any time for our Canadian pride to be at an all-time high, it should certainly be ahead of a Winter Olympics. But it would also be near-irresponsible fashion reporting to ignore the fact that Ralph Lauren once again put together a truly perfect capsule for the USA Olympic team. For its 10th Olympics dressing Team USA, the brand anchored itself in true Americana, from winter-white wool coats with rustic wooden toggles, a flag-intarsia turtleneck, and crisp tailored trousers. For the Closing Ceremony, Ralph Lauren taps into archive ski-racing aesthetics, with colour-blocked puffers and hardened utility pants.

Team France × Le Coq Sportif

In true French fashion, Le Coq Sportif went above and beyond when it came to creating specific kits designed for specific moments of the games (for those who respect a proper dress code, of course). France’s uniforms come to life in a three-part collection: Village, Interview, and Podium, featuring cool frosted blues pulled from 1976 archives, safari puffers, beige duffle coats, and a topographic map take on the tricolour. Together, the influences form perhaps the most editorial take on the Olympic kit.

Team Mongolia × Goyol Cashmere

This praise relies on quite a bit of speculation, since Mongolia and Goyol Cashmere have somehow managed to keep the visuals of their 2026 kits top secret with just a month to go before the games. But based on how much the world fell in love with their collaboration for the 2024 Paris Olympics, it feels safe to say that the Mongolian label will once again deliver for its athletes with time-honoured craftsmanship and imaginative, contemporary design.
