Dozens of ways to enjoy the Super Bowl 60 festivities ahead of the game

The Super Bowl LX arrives in the Bay Area with a whirlwind of events on Feb. 2. Eve if you can’t spring for a seat at the Feb. 8 game at Levi’s Stadium (currently starting at $7,795 on Ticketmaster), you can still join in on the fun.

The slew of Super Bowl adjacent events are scheduled for the week leading up to the game: Some are very much meant for sports fans, centered on the NFL, featuring coaches, players, memorabilia and football history. Others even appeal to folks who can’t name a single current player, from block parties to a small festival’s worth of big-name concerts and celebrity-hosted parties. A handful of events are free, while others can cost anywhere from $40 to thousands of dollars.

Here’s what’s on the schedule, no matter whether you are excited to go or want to know where to avoid the traffic.

MONDAY, FEB. 2

Super Bowl Opening Night, San Jose

Fans celebrate the arrival of the champion AFC and NFC teams, with the players and coaches make their only public appearances before the big game. The event is free, but seats are available on a first-come, first served basis and you must register on the NFL OnePass at attend.

The Big Game Opening Night Drone Show, San Jose

Following the opening night celebration, fans can take to the streets to enjoy a drone show over the SoFA District.

TUESDAY, FEB. 3-SATURDAY, FEB. 7

Super Bowl Experience, San Francisco

This football festival lets fans meet current NFL players and legends for autographs, shop for exclusive NFL gear, play interactive games, participate in NFL FLAG clinics, take photos with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, run in a 40-yard dash against virtual NFL players and peruse a display of all 59 Super Bowl rings.

BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone, San Francisco

This is the outdoor component of the Super Bowl Experience, which vaguely promises “a dynamic, multi-day celebration of sports, culture and innovation,” featuring “cutting-edge technology,” “world-class cuisine,” and live performances.

TUESDAY, FEB. 3

Pro Bowl Games 2026, San Francisco

The top players from the AFC and NFC will compete in an ESPN-televised flag football game, taking place inside Moscone Center. The 49ers selected the NFC roster are Christian McCaffrey, Kyle Juszczyk, Trey McBride, George Kittle, Tristan Wirfs, Trent Williams, Luke Gifford and Jon Weeks.

NFL Culture Hub at the Pearl, San Francisco

This mysterious, first-ever series is billed as “an exclusive, immersive destination and refined gathering place where the worlds of sport, art, music, fashion, and community converge” including a “a curated lineup of thought-provoking conversations, live performances, art installations, and bespoke brand collaborations.” Sports Business Journal reports that it will be similar to “the NFL House, a private hospitality space for league and team sponsors,” but some events will be open to the public.

Big Game Block Party, San Jose

This two-day celebration features a live podcast with Fitz & Whit’s Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth as well as food trucks, live art, shopping, prizes and games.

Chinatown Lunar New Year Block Party, San Francisco

Put on by the team behind BeChinatown Night Market, this Lunar New Year street festival will involve vendors offering culinary delights from San Francisco’s esteemed Asian restaurant scene as well as games, surprise guests and live performances that celebrate tradition and contemporary AAPI culture.

Endzone Experience, San Jose

At this fan and collectors festival, you’ll have a chance to “meet and greet professional athletes, witness a live card-breaking event, and explore an incredible marketplace with 144 collectible card vendors offering rare cards, high-end memorabilia.”

At this NFL-sanctioned event, Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy will present the Athletes in Action Bart Starr Award to one player “for outstanding character and leadership on and off the field.” Three-time 49ers Super Bowl champion Brent Jones serving as emcee. Other appearing include 49ers General Manager John Lynch; Andrew Luck, football general manager at Stanford University; and Condoleezza Rice, director of Stanford University’s Hoover Institution.

Taste of the NFL, San Francisco

A fundraiser for GENYOUth, a nonprofit fighting student hunger, this culinary extravaganza features top chefs and culinary stars including hosts Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Lasheeda Perry, Mark Bucher, Cat Cora, Tyler Florence, Sayat Ozyilmaz and Laura Ozyilmaz. Thirty NFL icons will also make appearances.
