“There was a person outside of JLo in that conversation, and that person was me,” he said to clear the air. He mentioned that, at these major red carpets, the celebrities are working professionals. Some people might be more chatty at work while others might not be as talkative.
He specifically said, “I didn’t take it personally, it didn’t feel rude in that moment. There’s a couple things that added to the fuel of this idea. One, she’s just down to business, the carpet was closed, she’s ready to go inside, she knew what she was going to do when she got into the position and I think it was just, like, unfortunate that the position was facing away from me … That moment didn’t feel rude.” You can watch the Jennifer Glambot here.
He also mentioned a Cara Delevingne moment at the Oscars one year, but he also did not find their interaction rude and actually said he thought she was sweet.
“When people are distracted, or less chatty, or thinking about other stuff, I don’t take it personally.”
On this Instagram post, Cole‘s comments were flooded by celebs.
Rachel Zegler wrote, “We love you. Always the kindest face to run into on what is otherwise an intensely pressure-filled evening. ❤️”
