Fixtures
- Kilmarnock U19s Vs. Hibernian U19s - Tue, Jan 20 2026, 15:00
THE LOWDOWN
Darren McGregor’s side have not competed in the league since Tuesday 14 October 2025 due to fixture congestion arising from taking part in the UEFA Youth League, CAS Elite U19 League Cup, Scottish Youth Cup, and KDM Evolution Trophy.
That last league clash, which took place over three months ago, was a 3-2 win over Dundee United - with Adam Buckley and Dean Cleland getting on the scoresheet.
Our most recent U19s outing occurred in mid-December, as we defeated St Mirren 2-0 at K-Park in the League Cup.
The 10-men hosts frustrated the Hibees with their resilient defensive showing, but late goals from Josh McDonald and Cleland ensured Hibs made a winning start to the group stage.
THE HOSTS
Kilmarnock U18s advanced to the Scottish Youth Cup semi-finals last week after defeating St Mirren on the road, whilst their U19s have made a strong start to their League Cup campaign.
Following a 6-1 win over Dundee United to kick-off their League Cup campaign, Killie sealed a 3-1 home victory over Celtic in their most recent match – with Archie Traynor, Noah Simpson, and Cole Coughlin finding the net.
In the league, Killie sit sixth – in a division of eight – after picking up seven points from a possible 18. The Ayrshire club last played in the league on Monday 8 December, losing out 3-2 to Hearts at Rugby Park.
We faced Killie on the opening day of the 2025/26 league season in late July, with Zach Bruce opening the scoring before Logan Jimenez netted twice to wrap up a convincing win at HTC.
Meanwhile, our last away clash against Killie came in May as the wee Hibees secured the 2024/25 CAS Elite Youth League title with a thumping 4-0 win. Jamie McMurdo and McDonald fired Hibs into an early lead on the day, before Cleland nabbed a brace to wrap up champions status in great style.
