Juventus continue Mateta talks with Crystal Palace after first offer rejected
Reports in Italy claim that Juventus directors will continue talks with Crystal Palace for Jean-Philippe Mateta today, but Napoli are also interested in the French striker.
Juventus are not giving up on Crystal Palace striker Mateta after their first offer to sign the 28-year-old was rejected on Sunday.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus will continue negotiations with Crystal Palace directors today, hoping to strike an agreement with the Premier League side.
According to Italian sources, including Tuttosport and Gazzetta, Palace’s asking price is €35m, but English media reports that the Premier League side’s request is even higher.
Tuttosport reports that Mateta has already given the green light to move to the Allianz Stadium this month, but Gazzetta adds that the Bianconeri must reach an agreement with both Mateta’s agent and Palace.

Napoli are also said to be interested in the French centre-forward, but the Partenopei must sell either Lorenzo Lucca or Noa Lang to welcome a new player up front.
Youssef En-Nesyri is also an option for both Juventus and Napoli as the striker’s club, Fenerbahce, are willing to discuss an initial loan move with an option to buy at the end of the season.
