Tiffany Haddish is revealing another new update on the Girls Trip sequel.
The 46-year-old actress and comedian is set to reprise her role as Dina for the second installment, which will reportedly film later this year.

“We just got the Girls Trip 2 script,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “They just sent the script. It is, to me, funny. I laughed out loud three times, which is very difficult for me to do, especially off paper, off of reading something. And it made me laugh loud, and hard. I had to put the script down for a minute and come back to it and laugh. It was really good.”
She also said she had some notes and tried to pass them onto the producers, but was denied the chance.
“They’re like, ‘Well, before we even get your notes, we want to get the notes from the studio, so we don’t even want your notes,’” Tiffany said. “And I was a little bit disappointed in that.”
As for where they’re filming?
“I’ve been told as of Friday I heard that they would like to shoot at the end of summer. And we’ll be shooting some of this movie in Africa,” she revealed.
Back in November, Tiffany shared they were to start filming this summer in “somewhere exotic and somewhere we don’t normally go.”
