Team News: Rangers (A)
Joelle Murray has made two changes to the Hibernian Women starting XI ahead of our SPWPL fixture against Rangers this afternoon.
The trip to Broadwood follows last weekend’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie against Celtic at Meadowbank Stadium.
No alterations take place in the defensive third; with Noa Schumacher remaining in goal while Scarlett Herron, Ellis Notley, Lauren Doran-Barr, and Rachael Boyle stay in defence.
The first change occurs in the middle of the park as Jess Fitzgerald returns to the starting line-up; replacing fellow Irish midfielder Ciara Grant. Fitzgerald had appeared off the bench in our last two matches following a three-match spell on the sidelines.
The second switch sees 16-year-old midfielder Jess Ramsay come into the XI; filling in for Tiree Burchill, who was injured last Sunday. The youngster has impressed in five appearances for the Hibees this season.
Kirsten Reilly makes her second consecutive start in midfield, while Rosie Livingstone, Eilidh Adams, and Tegan Bowie remain in attack.
Current Club top scorer Kathleen McGovern returns to the matchday squad as a substitute following two months out with injury.
Rowena Armitage deputises once more for Schumacher in goal, as midfielder Grant joins Stacey Papadopoulos, Hannah Jordan, and Kirsty Morrison on the bench.
Caley Gibb, Siobhan Hunter, and Milly Boughton all miss out – as does Linzi Taylor, who returned to on-pitch training this past week.
Academy midfielder Isla Taylor has joined up with Partick Thistle on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, and is therefore unavailable for selection.
