Confirmed: Two return as Spalletti confirms 22-man Juventus squad for Cagliari
Juventus are boosted by the returns of both Federico Gatti and Francisco Conceicao to the matchday squad for Saturday’s Serie A clash away against Cagliari.
The Old Lady have scored eight goals across their last two league victories, including a 5-0 win against Cremonese last time out: Gleison Bremer, Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz, Weston McKennie and an own-goal on the scoresheet on that occasion.
Spalletti has made two alterations to his matchday squad since then, reintroducing centre-back Gatti for the first time since the beginning of December. He has been nursing a meniscus injury since then.
Conceicao has also missed the last two matches with a muscular injury, but is back in the squad to face Cagliari on Saturday. He is not expected to start, but could potentially appear as a second-half substitute.
Next Gen representatives Jonas Rouhi and Pedro Felipe are the players who drop out of the Juventus squad to make way for the two returnees.
Spalletti is expected to stick with most of the same team that beat Cremonese 5-0 last time out, and is likely to name the same attacking trident of Kenan Yildiz, Fabio Miretti and Jonathan David.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
