‘Thank you!’ Trump notes Iran’s decision not to carry out 800 executions

Iran had scheduled more than 800 executions for Thursday amid massive revolt and uprising defying the rogue Islamic regime.

But they weren’t carried out, at least partly because of President Donald Trump’s assurance that there could be an intervention if needed.

Now Trump says it’s good the regime backed down.

According to report in Israel National News, Trump thanked the regime for canceling the hangings.

“I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (Over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!” Trump said on social media.

He addressed the issue with reporters later, explaining a decision not to intervene was made on his own.

“No one convinced me. I convinced myself. You had, yesterday, scheduled, over 800 hangings. They didn’t hang anyone. They cancelled the hangings. That had a big impact.”

He had said earlier, just as a U.S. intervention seemed imminent, that he had learned the killings had halted.

Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, said there remain issues that he hopes will be addressed diplomatically.

“Well, I hope there’s a diplomatic resolution. I really do. There are four issues: Nuclear enrichment, missiles, they have to cut back on their inventory, the actual material that they have, which is roughly 2,000 kilograms which is enriched anywhere between 3.67% to 60%, and the proxies, of course.”
