Schedule for pro forma sessions and Monday, January 26, 2026
The Senate stands in recess for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:
Friday, January 16th at 8:30am
Tuesday, January 20th at 10:00am
Thursday, January 22nd at 11:00am
When the Senate recesses on Thursday, January 22nd, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #300, S.3627, to require institutions of higher education to disseminate information on the rights of, and accommodations and resources for, pregnant students. (Moody)
