All-Female Broadcast Team To Lead NESN’s Coverage Of Dunkin’ Women’s Beanpot Championship For Third Straight Year

NESN, New England’s premier sports network, will again spotlight women’s voices across the Dunkin’ Women’s Beanpot championship, airing the championship and third-place games with an all-female broadcast crew for the third straight year.

Leading the Jan. 20 coverage on NESN and NESN 360 will be hockey icon Angela Ruggiero as color analyst alongside Bridgette Proulx as play-by-play, with an accomplished lineup of studio and rinkside talent bringing the tournament’s biggest moments to life.

The broadcast crew includes:

  • Color Analyst, Angela Ruggiero: Ruggiero, who is preparing for her role as a hockey broadcast analyst for the upcoming 2026 Olympic Games, will serve as color analyst, providing expert insight and championship perspective to viewers. A former Harvard University captain and NCAA national champion, Ruggiero is one of the most decorated players in hockey history – a four-time Olympian, Olympic gold medalist for Team USA, and just the fourth woman ever inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
  • Play-by-Play Analyst, Bridgette Proulx: Joining Ruggiero in the booth is Proulx, who will handle play-by-play duties. Proulx serves as play-by-play broadcaster and color analyst for PWHL Boston games on NESN and is a primary broadcaster for Boston University women’s hockey, while also serving as rinkside reporter for BU men’s hockey. She is co-host of “This Week in Hockey East” on NESN and is entering her fifth season as a Bruins reporter for WEEI. Proulx handled play-by-play for the Dunkin’ Women’s Beanpot Semifinals, which aired on NESN on Jan. 13.
  • Studio Analyst, Kaleigh Fratkin: A former Boston University standout and one of the most decorated women’s hockey players in New England, Fratkin will serve as a studio analyst. She helped lead the Terriers to three Hockey East titles (2012–2014) and two NCAA title game appearances. A Hockey East First-Team and All-Tournament selection, Fratkin went on to a 10-year professional career, most recently with PWHL Boston, helping the team reach the Walter Cup Final in its inaugural season. Fratkin also serves as a primary broadcaster for BU women’s hockey and provided color commentary for the Women’s Beanpot Semifinals.
  • Studio Analyst, Carson Duggan: Joining Fratkin in the studio is Duggan, a respected hockey analyst for NESN and ESPN. A former St. Lawrence University standout, Duggan helped lead the Saints to four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances before moving into coaching roles at Trinity College, The Ohio State University, and the University of Connecticut.
  • Studio Host, Natalie Noury: Noury, a rinkside reporter for PWHL Boston and Hockey East on NESN, as well as a Worcester Red Sox sideline reporter, will serve as studio host for the championship game broadcast.
  • Sideline Reporter, Kasey Hudson: Hudson, host of NESN’s “The Hockey Hub” and “Boston Has Entered The Chat,” will handle rinkside reporting for the championship game, as well as host the preview show.
