BTS to bring world tour to Chicago’s Soldier Field Aug 27-28

BTS Army, get ready.

The K-pop juggernaut will be bringing their highly anticipated world tour to Soldier Field in Chicago Aug 27-28.

Tickets for ARMY Membership holders (members of the official fan club) will go on sale beginning 11 a.m. Jan. 22-23, followed by general ticket sales on Jan. 24.

The band's last tour was in 2019 when they brought their Love Yourself, Speak Yourself World Tour show to Soldier Field. The seven-piece global sensation has been on hiatus since 2022 as several members went on to pursue solo projects and fulfill South Korea's mandatory military service.

The 2026 world tour tour will visit Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, kicking off with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and April 11–12, before heading to Tokyo, Japan. In addition to Chicago, the North American leg will include 12 cities and 28 shows, with stops in Tampa, Florida; El Paso, Texas; Mexico City, Mexico; Stanford, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; East Rutherford, New Jersey, and additional cities. BTS will close the North American run with a four-day show in Los Angeles.

In total, the 2026–2027 World Tour will span 34 regions and 79 shows, the highest number of tour dates and the widest regional reach for a South Korean artist, according to .
