The chorus is a tribute to Petey Pablo’s 2001 song “Raise Up,” and the single art is also a nod to the original PlayStation Grand Theft Auto cover art.
“Take my wife beat’ off, spin it like a helicopter / F–k with young Pretty Flacko, I Petey pop you,” he declares.
In partnership with Moncler and in support of Rocky’s GENIUS Collection, the accompanying video, directed by Rocky and Dan Streit, features the iconic D.B.D. helicopter he used during his 2025 Lollapalooza set.
The song sees Rocky boasting about his accomplishments and being influential: “Y’all n–s runnin’ into debt / Word to everything, I invented it / From the internet, n–s set the trend, now the trend is set / Then they run and do it and then forget who did it best.”
DON’T BE DUMB is Rocky’s first full-length album in eight years. The cover art features six of his signature personas, including GR1M, MR. MAYERS, RUGAHAND, BABUSHKA BOI, DUMMY, and SHIRTHEAD.
