Netflix Changes Arrival Date for James Bond Collection
Last month, James Bond fans were thrilled to learn that Netflix was adding to its Bond collection through a new deal with Amazon MGM.
Originally, the films were slated to arrive in the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Benelux, Italy, the Nordic countries and Latin America for three months starting January 15. However, a new report says their debut will be slightly delayed.
When will the James Bond collection debut on Netflix?
According to What's on Netflix's Kasey Moore, the Bond movies will arrive next week, on January 21, instead of this Thursday.
As for what movies are coming, there are differing reports.
What James Bond movies is Netflix adding?
This is where things are a little uncertain. The original reporting from said that only four movies--No Time To Die (2021), Skyfall (2012), Quantum of Solace (2008) and Die Another Day (2002)--would be coming to Netflix, Moore said in December that certain regions will receive the entirelibrary of James Bond films.
"They [Amazom MGM] also note that additional titles like Rocky, Creed, and Legally Blonde are on the way, as are series like The Man in the High Castle," Moore wrote.
Chris Ottinger, Amazon MGM's head of worldwide distribution, referred to the Bond franchise as "one of the most enduring and influential franchises in cinematic history."
How many James Bond movies are there?
In total, there are 25 films in the Bond franchise, with actors Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig each having opportunities to portray the legendary spy.

The next James Bond flick, No. 26 in the series, will be directed by Dune’s Denis Villeneuve and arrive in 2027 or 2028, according to reports.
