The experienced midfielder’s contract with Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season and according to Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta, the Rossoneri have explored a move with the player’s agent.
According to Gazzetta, Goretzka will surely leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season as the two parties have never even been close to reaching an agreement over the midfielder’s contract extension.
The 30-year-old earns €7m per season at the Allianz Arena and according to Gazzetta, he was not open to taking a pay cut at his current club.
Technically, it’s not an easy deal for Milan as the player’s salary and agent fees remain considerable although Goretzka would join Milan at the end of his contract in June.
