Timothy Busfield Missing 3 Days After Arrest Warrant Issued, U.S. Marshals Service Stepping in to Assist
An arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of actor Timothy Busfield several days ago, but he has not yet been located. The U.S. Marshals Service is now stepping in to assist the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) in finding him.
APD’s warrant alleges that the actor committed sex crimes against 11-year-old twin boys, according to People. One of the boys claimed the crimes began when he was just 7 years old. Busfield is now facing two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor and one count of child abuse.

When asked if they had located or detained Busfield at this point, an APD spokesperson told People, “Not that I am aware.”
The investigation reportedly started in November 2024 after a doctor at the University of New Mexico Hospital told police about a possible case of sexual abuse. The children allegedly met Busfield on the set of Fox series The Cleaning Lady when he was directing.
Best known for playing Danny Concannon on The West Wing, Busfield is married to former Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert. She has deactivated her Instagram account amid the ongoing investigation.
