YouTube Dating Show 'UpDating' to Become a TV Series
The viral YouTube dating show UpDating is being adapted into a television series!
Variety reports that creators Brandon Berman and Harrison Forman have teamed up with ITV America, the company behind Love Island USA, to turn their hit YouTube series into a TV show.
UpDating is “a live event where multiple singles embark go on blindfolded blind dates, onstage and in front of a live audience.”
The TV series will be “released in real time, which means at-home audiences will be able to participate and also join the cast themselves.”
Over 400 episodes of UpDating are already live on the show’s YouTube page, which has more than 1 million subscribers. You can also catch the show live on tour, with dozens of shows planned from now through May 2026.

“UpDating is a format that we’ve built and fine-tuned in front of live audiences across the globe, night after night, for years. Every show is entirely unpredictable, and at this point, we know exactly how to navigate the chaos and turn it into magic,” Berman and Forman said in a joint statement. “There’s been a lot of recent interest from potential creative partners, and we’re excited to team up with ITV America to bring the mayhem to an even bigger stage.”
In addition to Love Island, ITV America is also behind The Voice, Queer Eye, and Hell’s Kitchen.
