When will the exact time for the next 49ers playoff game be announced?

The San Francisco 49ers battled back Sunday to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles and advance to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. They’ll travel to face their bitter rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, this week, but the question is, when is the game?

Date: Saturday, Jan. 17.

Time: TBD. The game will start at either 1:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. PT, per the NFL.

Network: TBD. Regardless of the network and streaming service assigned to the game, fans in the Bay Area can expect to watch it on a local TV network that can be accessed with an antenna.

Unfortunately, the exact time and network of the matchup will not be announced until the conclusion of the wild-card playoff game between the Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. You can tune in to the MNF broadcast for the postgame reveal or check NFL.com.

The Niners will be seeking payback against a Seahawks team that beat them 13-3 in the regular-season finale a week ago to earn the NFC’s No. 1 seed. The 49ers won the first matchup of the season, though, beating the Seahawks in Seattle 17-13 in the regular-season opener.
