Official: One return as Juventus confirm 22-man squad to take on Cremonese
Luciano Spalletti has confirmed a squad of 22 Juventus players to take on Cremonese in Serie A on Monday evening, but is forced to go without attackers Francisco Conceicao and Dusan Vlahovic.
The Bianconeri are looking to back up an encouraging 3-0 win away against Sassuolo last time out with another three points against the newly-promoted Cremonese on Monday night. Juve require a victory this evening if they are to leapfrog Roma back into the Champions League positions.
Spalletti is able to call upon Lloyd Kelly, who missed out on the Sassuolo victory through muscular fatigue. Centre-backs Daniele Rugani and Federico Gatti remain unavailable through injury.
There is also no Conceicao, who also missed out against Sassuolo, as well as Vlahovic, who is still expected to be out of action for another few months.
Pre-match reports indicate that there will be another opportunity for Fabio Miretti to start in an advanced role alongside Kenan Yildiz. Jonathan David, who claimed a goal and an assist against Sassuolo, is expected to keep his place at centre-forward over Lois Openda.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
