Acer’s 1440p 240Hz OLED gaming monitor is just $430 right now
A sure-fire way to add some wow factor to your gaming setup is to upgrade your monitor from LCD to OLED. But even as more and more companies enter the competitive fray, prices on OLED gaming monitors are still on the high side. Today, you can get this 27-inch Acer Predator OLED for just $429.99—over $100 off its original retail.
This version of the Predator X27U has a 26.5-inch panel with a resolution of 2560×1440, the “sweet spot” for showing off sharper gaming without weighing down your GPU. It also has an impressive 240Hz refresh rate, well above most cheaper LCD panels and a big improvement over OLEDs from a year or so ago. Combined with a 0.03ms response time, it should be able to accommodate all but the twitchiest competitive gamers in titles like Counter-Strike and Marvel Rivals.
Other specs are a bit sparse, with just two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dinky integrated speakers. This monitor is definitely meant for a desktop PC setup, not as a companion to a laptop (at least not without a good dock).
You can (and should) also add a monitor arm to your setup thanks to the standard VESA mount, especially if you have a multi-monitor setup. But otherwise, this is a great way to get a name-brand OLED as cheap as possible outside of a major sale. Get it now on Amazon for $429.99 before supply on this deal runs out!
