Norcott arrives on loan
Tom, 21, completes a loan move to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium from Sky Bet League One side Reading, following a recent spell at Enfield Town.
The talented shot-stopper has been with The Royals since the age of eight and has worked his way up to their Under 21 side who compete in the Premier League 2.
Back in October 2023, he was handed his First Team debut as a second half substitute when Reading demolished Swindon Town 5-0 in the EFL Trophy Group Stage.
Norcott started the 2025/26 season on loan at Woking in The National League – making seven appearances and recording clean sheets in victories over Gateshead and Morecambe – until he was recalled by his parent club in October.
He was then named on the bench for The Royals in their Sky Bet League One fixtures with Doncaster Rovers, Northampton and Cardiff City, just prior to his Enfield Town loan.
Manager Spencer Day commented: “We are delighted to sign Tom who was due to make his debut against Chelmsford.
“Tom had a successful spell at Woking in the The National League and brief appearance at Enfield before injury.
“We are delighted to get our first choice having considered many keepers and welcome him to the club.”
“Many thanks to everyone at Reading for helping us out.”
Norcott has been allocated shirt number 22.
