Why Leonardo DiCaprio’s 2026 Golden Globes Seating Could Get Super-Awkward
The Golden Globes are starting in a mere few hours, and everyone wants to know the details: what everyone is going to wear, who’s going to win, and the details on the seating arrangements. While we’ve seen glimpses here and there of where everyone will be sitting; one table definitely caught everyone’s eye.
At one of the head tables sits Leonardo DiCaprio… and next to him is Miley Cyrus. Now, you may be like, “Why does this matter? Have they ever even spoken?” Well, it all started back in 2015 when Cyrus spoke about their awkward encounter on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.
“I was like 20 feet, 15 feet from Leonardo DiCaprio sitting there with his mom,” and he was “hitting a vape pen” but wouldn’t let her take a hit of the vape. She added, “There’s an etiquette of: ‘You need to pass that s***, Leo.’ He never did, so that was weird to me.” She then imitated how he looked that day. You can see the details below:
In the same interview, many believe she made pointed remarks at Hollywood men like him saying “There’s a lot of hypocrisy in how older men are praised for things women would be destroyed for” and “I’m not interested in being part of a boys’ club where women are just accessories.”
While he’s never clapped back, nor has she said anything else since, many wonder if it’ll be an awkwardly quiet table at the ceremony tonight!
