ICE Director Delivers a Perfect Response to Pathetic Portland Police Chief Who CRIED Over Two Tren de Aragua Gangsters Getting Shot After Trying Mow Down Border Patrol Agents (VIDEO)

On Sunday, the acting director of ICE delivered a must-see message for the blubbering police chief who cried like a baby over two illegal alien gangsters who were shot by heroic Border Patrol agents.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Portland Police Chief Bob Day on Friday broke down in tears during a press conference as he admitted the Department of Homeland Security was right about an officer-involved shooting involving illegals affiliated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

“They do have some nexus to involvement with TDA. We can confirm that,” Day said as he sobbed.

“I want to speak for just a moment, specifically to my Latino community,” Day continued. “It saddens me that we even have to qualify these remarks because I understand, or at least have attempted to understand your voices, your concern, your fear, your anger.”

“This information, in no way, is meant to disparage or to condone or support or agree with any of the actions that occurred yesterday.”

On Sunday, acting ICE director Todd Lyons appeared on “The Sunday Briefing” with Fox News’ Peter Doocy to weigh in on Day’s public meltdown, and his response was absolutely perfect.

Lyons said there was no reason for Day to be crying because they had removed dangerous criminal illegal aliens from his city. Instead, Day should be thanking the Border Patrol.

Lyons went on to scoff at Day’s pathetic attempt to avoid ‘victim-blaming,’ pointing out that the people involved were dangerous criminals. Then he closed with an important message:

“If you use a three to four-thousand-pound vehicle to attempt to ram a law enforcement officer…There’s going to be consequences.”

LYONS: I have no idea what he was crying about. Border Patrol agents were conducting a targeted enforcement operation on suspected TdA gang members in a human trafficking prostitution sting in his city.

So I would think that he would be happy that we take these criminal elements out of his neighborhoods…He went on to say that he did not want to victim-blame; there were criminals in this situation, not victims.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, federal agents shot two illegal alien gangsters affiliated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday afternoon after they tried to run over Border Patrol Agents.

At 2:19 PST, US Border Patrol agents were conducting a targeted vehicle stop in Portland, Oregon. The passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transnational Tren de Aragua prostitution ring and involved in a recent shooting in Portland,” the DHS said.

“The vehicle driver is believed to be a member of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents,” the agency added.

The two gang members were wounded and transported to a local hospital.
