Tony Blair’s Sister-in-Law Lauren Booth Defends Calling October 7 a ‘Legendary Day’ for Muslims

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s sister-in-law is going viral for defending her despicable comments regarding the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks that targeted civilians.

In addition to murdering 1,200 people and taking more than 250 hostages, there is extensive evidence of the use of rape by Hamas terrorists as a tool of war.

But to Blair’s sister-in-law, Lauren Booth, it was a ‘legendary day’ for Muslims.

Booth, who is a convert to Islam, spoke with Turkish outlet Yeni Şafak two years ago. But the video has resurfaced and, rather than being embarrassed by her remarks, she has chosen to double down.

Booth told the outlet, “After October the seventh, this October the seventh, a legendary day in the ummah’s history. Yes, we can say that people are now picking up the Quran because of the steadfastness and sabbat of the people of Ghazza, specifically, to find the beauty in the Quran.”

“How many millions will accept Islam because of this? Only Allah knows. We’re in a tipping point in history. Don’t be downhearted. Be steadfast. Be strong. Carry on the struggle however you.”

Watch:

In the interview, although she praised the ‘steadfastness’ of Gazans, she expressed frustration during a prior visit that Palestinians showed restraint rather than hatred toward Jews.

She described being “a little bit annoyed” with Palestinians because she perceived them as having “Stockholm syndrome” due to their restraint and lack of hatred.

“Because not only were they not determined to hate all Jews or just take Jewish life, they said Allah will sort this out for us, Allah is our judge, we must be steadfast. And I was so angry that I said you really need to be resisting this in a different way.”

As outrage at her comments from the prior interview received renewed attention, Booth doubled down, defending her twisted viewpoint by, of course, blaming Israel.

“An article is scheduled to be published, which combs through a video interview I gave to a Turkish channel two years ago. Now, the Daily Mail, surprise, surprise, is behind this attempt to intimidate and silence my support for Palestinian justice. I have long since stepped away from a type of gutter journalism apparent at the Mail and Mail on Sunday,” Booth shared in a video.

“And now, as a Muslim, my position in no way conflicts with international law, which does permit resistance.”

“Oh, by the way, I almost forgot to mention, the story being published to harass me, it’s being generated from a writer who is based in, guess where? Israel.”

“This is client journalism at its most blatant, namely content that resembles news or journalism, but is created specifically to serve the interests of certain highly connected sources or a paying client rather than the public interest. So the Daily Mail is yet another media archaeologist digging up old statements to try and cause issues for voices opposing the occupation of Palestine.”

She concludes, “We will see an end to the evils of Zionism, Inshallah, and we will not be silenced.”

This is not the first time Booth has raised eyebrows.

In 2011, the radical Jew-hater called for the destruction of Israel at a Trafalgar Square protest and called for Muslims to “liberate” Al-Quds from the Jews.
