Ex-Prince Andrew May End Up Moving Into an Unexpected Country for More Privacy, Expert Claims

As many royal fans know by now, ex-Prince Andrew’s living situation is totally up in the air! There’s an agreed-upon date for him to move out of the Royal Lodge, but afterward? There are reports that he may move into one of King Charles III’s privately owned Sandringham estates or even become homeless. Now, there are talks that he may leave the country for the Middle East.

A new interview with People featuring royal author and journalist Robert Jobson suggests that Andrew may leave the UK for the Middle East, specifically Bahrain.

“One never knows—it could be a place where Andrew gets the recognition of being the second son of Queen Elizabeth, rather than this,” Jobson said to the outlet. “Other disgraced people have gone to the Middle East. Andrew did a lot of business in Bahrain, and he’s still relatively young.”

Jobson is referring to the former King Juan Carlos of Spain, who relocated to the UAE in 2020, and how Andrew had many business connections in the country of Bahrain with ventures like Pitch@Palace and Waterberg Stirling, which were all about bridging the gap between Middle Eastern investment and Chinese initiatives.

Jobson also notes that it could be a way for him to regain privacy after years of scandal, including his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, Virginia Guiffre’s posthumously-released memoir, and his financial scandals that came out after he lost his titles.
