Insiders Believe Emily Blunt & John Krasinski’s Private Marriage Is About to ‘Reach Breaking Point’

It seems Emily Blunt and John Krasinski haven’t been able to shake off the divorce rumors for good. It’s been a minute since they were on the red carpet but back in Dec 2025, she hinted things were fine, noting to Deadline that, “John is currently in his monastic writing cell, just dreaming it up. He has barely told me anything, so I’m excited about all of it, really.” However, she made no note about how their private marriage is doing, and now insiders say their personal life isn’t doing all too well.
Insiders told Heat World UK about what’s allegedly happening behind closed doors.
“Things are nowhere near as perfect as they look from a distance. They present as this rock-solid, blissfully united couple, but behind the façade, things are a lot more fraught,” the insiders alleged. “Everyone who knows them sees how different their approach to their work is. Eventually, it’s going to reach breaking point.”
Another inside source added, “Emily is still doing her best to keep things on track, but if John doesn’t do some serious self-reflection, her patience is going to run out. Friends think a little distance in their work lives could take the pressure down several notches and help them reconnect in a healthier way.”
For those who don’t know, the Quiet Place stars started dating in 2008 after meeting that same year through mutual friends. They got engaged less than a year later in Aug 2009. Later, they married in July 2010, and welcomed their two daughters, named Hazel, born in 2014, and Violet, born in 2016.
