Prime accused in Odisha’s Jajpur idol theft case arrested from Agra after four years
Odisha Police have arrested Vikash Yadav, the prime accused in the 2022 theft of six 'ashtadhatu' idols from a Jajpur district temple, from Agra. Yadav, who had been absconding for over three years, was remanded to judicial custody after his bail application was rejected. Police are still working to recover the stolen idols and apprehend other involved miscreants.
