NFL Team Sent Warning to Fans Before Home Playoff Game
The first round of the NFL playoffs officially kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 10 as the Carolina Panthers host the Los Angeles Rams in a rematch of their Week 13 meeting before the Chicago Bears square off against the Green Bay Packers to settle their score after splitting their regular season series.
Three more wild card games are scheduled for Sunday before the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Houston Texans on Monday night to wrap up the first round.
Seattle Seahawks Already Preparing for Divisional Round
The Seattle Seahawks earned the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a bye through the first week of the playoffs with preparations already underway for the divisional round. Before hosting a playoff game next weekend, the Seahawks sent a message to season ticket holders, warning them not to resell playoff tickets or face potential consequences.
"Our records indicate that your seats for the upcoming Divisional Round Playoff game are currently posted for resale. as communicated prior to the 2025 season, 2026 renewal eligibility may be impacted if its is determined that your season tickets, including any playoff games, were used primarily for resale purposes," the first part of the message read.

"To avoid any impact to your renewal eligibility, we ask that you remove your resale listing and ensure your tickets are used by another 12. We encourage you to distribute your tickets directly to friends, family members, neighbors or community groups that will help us pack Lumen Field with blue and green," the message concluded.
As the No. 1 seed Seattle not only gets a bye through the first week of the playoffs and hosts a playoff game, but will also host the lowest remaining seed, meaning the Seahawks will play either the Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers or Green Bay Packers.
