Want More Climbing? Here’s How to Add Us as a Preferred Source on Google.
Google recently gave its users some autonomy over their search results with its “Preferred Sources” tool. And if you’re a climber, you can now put Climbing news and stories at the top of your search list. Here’s how.
This new feature from Google allows you to customize your top news sources so that publications that are subject experts in, say, climbing, show up first in your “Top stories” or “News” searches. This also means you’ll have a dedicated “From your sources” section featuring outlets you know and trust. This will allow you to get the latest available news, information, and other stories from Climbing that relate to your search query.
If you want to set Climbing as one of your preferred sources, click this link.
We’ve also made it easier than ever to add us as a preferred source through the Climbing website, on both the web and mobile versions. All you have to do is click the “Add Climbing as a preferred source on Google” button in any story, as shown below:
“With the launch of Preferred Sources in the U.S. and India, you can select your favorite sources and stay up to date on the latest content from the sites you follow and subscribe to—whether that’s your favorite sports blog or a local news outlet,” writes Google on its blog.
