San Carlos: Home-invasion robbery under investigation
SAN CARLOS — An investigation is underway into a home-invasion robbery early Friday in San Carlos, according to authorities.
Around 2 a.m., a masked man forced his way into a home in the 1400 block of Greenwood Drive, pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the victim, and demanded money and valuables, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The victim was not injured, and the suspect left the area on a bicycle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect. The sheriff’s office said he was last seen wearing a black face mask, a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored pants.
