Willa Ford Defends Friends After Ashley Tisdale's Viral Mom Group Essay: 'Bullying Is Not in Their DNA'
Pop singer Willa Ford is weighing in on the controversy surrounding Ashley Tisdale‘s viral essay about leaving a “toxic” mom group.
Speaking to Page Six Radio on Friday (January 9) while promoting her new song “Love4Life,” Willa shared that she’s close with Kelsey Deenihan and Janice Gott, two moms who have previously been photographed alongside the friend group Ashley referenced in her post.

“Kelsey and Janice are ride or dies. I went through a divorce. These were women who were by my side, who are wonderful humans just in general, not just in the business,” the “I Wanna Be Bad” singer said. “My girlfriends didn’t deserve this. They’re not actresses. Their faces didn’t deserve to be plastered.”
Willa, 44, emphasized that she doesn’t know what led to the fallout and described the High School Musical star as “so lovely.”
However, she is standing by her two friends and claims that “bullying is not in their DNA. So I just feel like it would’ve been nice if the communication maybe could have been done differently.”
“I actually think this whole thing does resolve itself, as much as I know everybody wants a reality show about it,” the songwriter concluded.
