Tottenham have the most entitled players in the Premier League, here is why - Opinion
Tottenham Hotspur have not been good enough this season, but it seems their players are unwilling to accept criticism.
There is not an argument to be made in defence of Tottenham Hotspur after what has been an awful campaign up to this point.
Spurs find themselves 14th in the Premier League table after 21 matches, despite the fact that there is a lack of quality in teams sitting outside the top three.

To make things worse, there appears to be a refusal from the Tottenham players to take some stick when they suffer poor results, which speaks volumes about their mentality.
Spurs need to stop engaging in battles with their own supporters
Ange Postecoglou often found himself at the centre of heated exchanges with Tottenham fans following defeats and sadly nothing has changed under Thomas Frank.
The Danish manager claimed some of the harsher critics of the fanbase were not true supporters after the Fulham defeat and the actions of his players are no better.
Incidents which see them go over and argue with the Spurs fans have become all too common and this happened once again after the Bournemouth defeat.
Joao Palhinha looked to be having a calm discussion with a fan which is not a problem, but this was after a heated altercation involving Micky van de Ven. It seemed Pedro Porro also got involved and he is a player who has repeatedly sought to have a go at the fans.
Tottenham must accept that the fans are angry
Instead of joining in with post-match arguments, the Spurs players should focus on putting that passion into their own performances.
Criticism from the stands often turns into abuse which can reach unacceptable levels, but the best thing to do is ignore it, rather than turning the club into a pantomime show for rival fans.
When members of the Tottenham first-team squad continue to squabble with those paying good money to watch them, it all looks very unprofessional and entitled. If they are playing badly, which they most certainly are, anger and frustration is bound to be directed at them.
Frank should be having words with his team and ensuring that the only communication they have with the fans is to acknowledge their support. Heated exchanges and wars of words only show that the players are unwilling to be called out when they fail to perform.
