The FBI is seeking information about a December shooting of an armored truck guard in Brighton Park.
The FBI Chicago field office is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter, the agency said in a news release.
On Dec. 23, the driver of a Brinks armored truck was held up and shot about 9:53 a.m. at the Chase Bank location at 4363 S. Archer Ave.
The shooter, who is described as a male with a slim and athletic build, shot the Brinks guard after making a verbal demand for money, officials said. The guard was seriously injured.
The FBI said the shooter fled in a bronze Hyundai Elantra sedan with tinted windows. He was wearing a dark puffer jacket, a dark face mask, dark sunglasses, dark pants and dark athletic shoes.
