Rumer Willis Breastfeeds 2-Year-Old Daughter Louetta in Intimate Snowy Video: ‘For the Haters’
Snow is gently falling over the trees in a serene winter moment, and Rumer Willis stands on the white path with one breast out, feeding her 2-year-old daughter Louetta. The Trail of Vengeance star looks so peaceful breastfeeding her toddler in the intimate, snowy clip, which she recently shared in defiance to people judging her.
“For the Haters ????,” Willis, who shares Louetta with ex Derek Richard Thomas, wrote on Instagram. In the beautiful video, she wears a long black dress that opens for easy access to nurse. She holds Louetta in her arms as the little girl grasps her mom’s breast to drink from it with tiny hands.
“Happy New Year to everyone except anyone uncomfortable with breastfeeding,” she wrote over the video. “May 2026 educate you.”
The video was set to a sound clip of a woman singing, “I don’t give a f— anymore, a f— anymore.”
As expected with social media, she had a mix of people who support her and more haters. Peta Murgatroyd wrote, “????????????????.”
Someone else criticized, “it’s not funny at all. Keep some shit private. My goodness nothing is anymore because of social media.”
“There is nothing more beautiful. Xoxo ❤️????????” another person commented. Someone else said, “Awww this is a DREAM!! I BF my little girl for 3.5 years, so grateful for this time together ♥️”
Others disagreed, as if Willis cares about other people’s opinions on her baby. “No hate but she’s too old for it,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “And why do you think we want to see this?”
As a reminder for everyone judging on Willis for breastfeeding her toddler, the World Health Organization recommends that babies be exclusively breastfeed until age 6 months, and then they can start to eat solid foods “while continuing to breastfeed for up to two years of age or beyond.”
So if Willis wants to keep breastfeeding her daughter, and her daughter wants to keep breastfeeding, then it’s none of your business!
Last year on World Breastfeeding Week, Willis wrote on Instagram about her “incredible” breastfeeding journey with Louetta. “I feel so grateful that our journey has been so incredible. Breastfeeding has been one of the most joyful and bonding experiences of my life with Lou,” she wrote in part, adding, “I don’t know when we will stop but I am sure we will figure it out together.”
The My Divorce Party star added, “This journey has been filled with ease and grace, and I feel incredibly privileged because I know this isn’t the case for everyone,” she continued. “What matters deeply to me is creating a space to support women on their breastfeeding journey, so all can experience the joy and connection it brings.”
And back when her daughter was just 7 months old, Willis told E! News that people who have a problem with breastfeeding need to mind their own business. “I don’t have shame about my breasts or about feeding my daughter,” she said. “That’s how they eat; that’s how they find connection; that’s how they find safety.”
“We, as a society, are the ones who have sexualized breasts,” she continued. “Breasts are literally made to feed our children.” Yes, queen!
Feeding little ones isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey, and these celebrity moms are advocating for extended breastfeeding.
