Dem dares Fox News host to show viewers footage of ICE shooting: 'Why are you so afraid?'
Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) confronted Fox News' Will Cain on Thursday about why the network was so reluctant to show their viewers a video of the fatal shooting by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis.
"Talking about [Trump border adviser Tom] Homan, you accused him of lying, you said, in your words, that what happened was not self-defense, this was murder," said Cain. "Have you interviewed the officer, the ICE agent involved in the shooting?"
"No, but I've watched the video. Why are you so afraid to show the video to your viewers?" said Moulton.
"I know you've seen the video," said Cain.
"You haven't shown it on your show," Moulton shot back. "Why don't you just show it and let people use their own eyes?"
The incident, captured from multiple angles, showed officers trying to order 37-year-old mother of three Renee Nicole Good out of her car, then, as she tried to turn away, one officer fired three shots into her at close range through the window of her car, incapacitating her and causing the car to move forward and crash into parked vehicles down the road.
Immediately after the news broke and protests flared up, Trump administration officials began falsely claiming that Good tried to run down the officers, or even that an officer had been hospitalized as a result. Vice President J.D. Vance is now claiming that the shooter, identified as Jonathan Ross, is completely immune from prosecution by the state of Minnesota for the death.
