Bears injury report: WR Rome Odunze officially set to play vs. Packers, CB Kyler Gordon questionable
Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is back, and nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon has a chance to play Saturday against the Packers in the wild-card game.
Odunze, who said this week he was “planning to play,” practiced in full Thursday and had no status designation on the final injury report. Gordon was listed as questionable.
Starting left tackle Ozzy Trapilo, who missed the last game with knee and quad injuries, also practiced in full and will play.
The Bears could activate former starter Braxton Jones from injured reserve as a contingency, and he practiced in full all week after missing two months with a knee injury. He is listed as questionable.
Wide receiver DJ Moore was limited in practice early in the week week because of a knee injury, but practiced in full Thursday and will play.
The team ruled out nickel cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson, defensive end Joe Tyron-Shoyinka and linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga with concussions.
Odunze and Gordon missed the final five games of the regular season.
Odunze played through plantar fasciitis for much of the season and developed a stress fracture in late November. He hoped to play through that and was active for the Dec. 14 game against the Browns before having pain in pre-game warmups. That prompted the team to adjust his target to returning for the playoffs.
Gordon is on IR for the second time and missed 14 games because of three separate injuries. He currently is working back from a groin injury that occurred in warmups at Lambeau Field on Dec. 7.
The Bears’ active roster stood at 52 on Thursday, so they have room to add one player from IR before they’d need to make roster moves.
