DRI seizes 29 kg of foreign-origin gold from Agartala & Delhi
In a groundbreaking crackdown, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has dismantled an extensive international gold smuggling operation, believed to be orchestrated from Bangladesh and Dubai. This joint effort, executed in Delhi and Agartala, netted an astonishing 29 kg of illicit foreign gold valued at Rs 40 crore, alongside a staggering Rs 2.9 crore in cash.
