HC asks Nayagarh collector to grant permission for fair
The Orissa High Court has ordered the Nayagarh collector to grant permission for the "Bhapur Mahotsav and Pallishree Mela" within two days. Organizers agreed to shift the cultural festival to January 12-15, 2026, after initial permission was denied. The district administration has no objections, provided law and order and public safety conditions are met.
