Why Did Nick Reiner's Lawyer Quit? Two Attorneys Reveal Potential Reasons
This week, people were shocked when Nick Reiner‘s lawyer, Alan Jackson, quit his case as they were due in court.
He was previously defending Nick, who is accused of killing his parents Rob and Michele Reiner.
In a press conference, Alan Jackson said he could not get into details about why he quit, and did also say: “Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder.”
Now, 2 lawyers are weighing in on why he may have stepped away.

“If you look at his phrases, ‘We have no choice’ and ‘circumstances beyond our control,’ that’s likely an ethical or legal conflict. I would most likely say it’s a conflict of interest,” entertainment lawyer Lisa Bonner mused to Page Six.
About Alan Jackson declaring that “Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder,” here’s what Lisa had to say about that: “He’s reaffirming the presumption of innocence. He’s not gotten any admission of guilt from Nick. He’s preserving all the defenses going forward. A defense lawyer always says, ‘My client is not guilty. This country is built on the presumption of innocence.”
Fox News spoke to criminal defense attorney Joshua Ritter, who thinks it might come down to money.
“It sounds like it was simply a mutual parting over a lack of ability to retain a private attorney and, therefore, his only option was that he was left with a public defender,” he said.
