'The Pitt' Renewed for Season 3 by HBO Max Ahead of Season 2 Debut!

During the season two premiere event on Wednesday night (January 7) in Los Angeles, Casey Bloys – who is the Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max – announced that the Emmy-winning medical drama series led by Noah Wyle had been renewed for a third season.

As previously reported, the second season will take place 10 months after season one during the Fourth of July weekend.
Along with Noah returning as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the cast also includes Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Nurse Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), and Shabana Azeez (Javadi), with some cast additions like Sepideh Moafi in the role of Dr. Al-Hashimi.
Season two of The Pitt debuts on Thursday, January 8 at 9pm ET on HBO Max. You can watch the trailer here!
